
Kathmandu, August 4
Citing the risk of coronavirus spread has increased in Kathmandu of late with scores of people coming to the valley from other districts, the government has assigned 14 hospitals to collect swab samples of suspected people for PCR tests.
Issuing a public notice on Tuesday, the Ministry of Health and Population has urged the public to visit these hospitals in case of suspicion. The ministry’s joint-spokesperson Dr Sameer Kumar Adhikari says the public can visit these hospitals between 9 am and 1 pm every day:
- Patan Hospital
- Bhaktapur Hospital
- Civil Service Hospital
- KMC Teaching Hospital
- TU Teaching Hospital
- Bir Hospital
- Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital (Teku Hospital)
- Armed Police Force Hospital
- Birendra Hospital
- Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital
- Star Hospital
- HAMS Hospital
- Nepal Police Hospital
- Nepa-Korea Friendship Municipality Hospital
