Kathmandu, November 17
Police have arrested seven persons for their alleged involvement in gambling in Kuleshwar, KMC-14 of Kathmandu.
Police also confiscated Rs 238,850 in cash and 11 cheques with the face value of Rs 794,870 in total from their possession.
Acting on a tip-off, the law enforcers had raided the house of local Shiva Shrestha, informs DSP Apil Raj Bohora, the chief of the Metropolitan Police Circle in Kalimati.
Police are looking into the case as per the Gambling Act.
