Kathmandu, January 14
Two people died in a tipper accident at Nagdhunga, Dhankuta municipality-2 of the Dhankuta district in eastern Nepal on Friday morning.
The victims have been identified as Bhuwan Thedi Magar (27), a resident of Mandabi rural municipality-1 in the Pyuthan district and Nabin Bishwakarma (21), a resident of Babai rural municipality-3 of the Dang district in Lumbini, according to police.
Magar was the driver of the vehicle whereas Bishwakarma was his assistant.
The tipper (Bagmati Pradesh-03-001 Ka 0549) had fallen around 25 metres down the road at around 4:45 am today after the driver lost control over the vehicle, according to the Hile Police Post.
Crushed by the vehicle, both of them died on the spot.
