Biratnagar, April 12
Police in Biratnagar, the Province 1 capital, have arrested an Indian student in possession of human skulls and bones.
The Armed Police Force border outpost on the Nepal-India border area in Rani arrested 26-year-old Aaditya Sinha (26), a resident of Purnea, Bihar of India, according to police. Sinha is a student of the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal.
It has been learned that Sinha was returning to India after completing the MBBS course when he was arrested.
SP Raj Kumar Lamichhane says police found human skulls and bones of different parts in several numbers.
Meanwhile, the student says he collected them from other students of his institution and is taking them to India for his study purposes. However, he informs the institute has not been informed of the possession.
The APF has handed over Sinha to Nepal Police for further investigation and action.
