Design and display
Amazfit GTS 2 mini new version has a lot of influence in terms of design from the main model, GTS 2. The watch is square-shaped and with 2.5D glass on the front and a plastic shell at the bottom. The watch has a silicone strap with a length of 20mm. Similarly, it is light-weighted as the body of the watch is made from aluminium alloy. A single physical button resides on the side, which can be used to navigate the watch. The watch also has 5 ATM certifications and offers protection up to 50 metres in depth.
Amazfit GTS 2 mini new version weighs lightly at 19.5 grams only and is 8.95 mm thick. Currently, it is available in black and pink colour options.
The Amazfit GTS 2 mini new version adopts a borderless design, and the curved 2.5D glass enhances the looks of the watch. The 1.55-inch AMOLED display offers a resolution of 354×306 pixels and 301 PPI and is also vibrant and clear. The watch is touch-operated and there are more than 80 watch faces to choose from. The users also have the option to make their own watch face by uploading and syncing the pictures. Since the screen of the watch can rotate 180 degrees, it is convenient for both left and right-hand users.
Health and fitness tracking
Amazfit GTS 2 mini new version is equipped with the same high-precision BioTracker 2 PPG as seen on the main models. This allows the watch to have similar characteristics. It can monitor 24-hour heart rate, blood-oxygen level, sleep monitoring and all-day stress level monitoring. The watch also tracks menstruation cycles. Like all Amazfit watches released recently, this watch too includes a Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) health assessment system with an automatic set target of 100 PAI per day.
Likewise, there are more than 68 built-in sports modes on the watch, which cover both outdoor and indoor sports. The watch provides notifications about different exercise stages, monitors heart rate and provides details after the completion of the workout. There is no mention of smart recognition of different sports in this model.
Connectivity, battery life and others
Amazfit GTS 2 mini new version can be connected to other devices via Bluetooth. The compatible app of the watch is Zepp and with this watch, the user has a more comprehensive view of their health. When connected to a device, the user has access to their sleeping patterns, heart rate and stress level. The watch sends a notification to move if the user is sitting idle for an extended period. The watch also alerts the user in case of irregular or abnormal heartbeat.
However, the device should either have Android 5.0 or higher (Android) and iOS 10 or higher (Apple) OS. After connecting the watch through the app, the user can also control the music from the watch itself. Though the user cannot receive a call from the watch, they certainly can mute the calls.
Powering the watch is a 220mAh non-removable li-po battery. The company claims the battery can last up to 21 days under basic use and up to seven days under heavy use. The battery gets fully charged in two hours.
The price of the Amazfit GTS 2 mini new version is Rs 9,799.
