Janakpurdham, December 29
A man died in a motorbike accident in the Dhanusha district of Madhesh in southern Nepal on Thursday morning.
The victim has been identified as Ram Chandra Thakur (28), a resident of Harine, Kamala municipality-8 of the district.
Thakur fell off the motorbike he was riding (Madhesh Pradesh 2-006-Pa 1819) after it hit an electricity pole on the roadside at Hathipur, Sahidnagar municipality-6 today, informs DSP Pradeep Bahadur Chhetri, the District Police Office spokesperson.
The body has been taken to the Provincial Hospital in Janakpur for postmortem. Further investigation is underway.
