Kathmandu, January 18
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has expressed his sympathies over the death of at least 70 people in the Pokhara plane crash on Sunday.
Erdoğan sent a letter of condolence to his Nepali counterpart Bidya Devi Bhandari on Tuesday and said, “I convey my sincere condolences to your excellency, the friendly people of Nepal and the family of those who lost their lives in the accident.”
Nepal and Turkey have had diplomatic relationships since November 15, 1962.
