Kathmandu, June 1
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is visiting New Delhi for a four-day official visit, met his Indian counterpart, Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The two met at Hyderabad House, the state guesthouse of the Prime Minister of India.
Following their meeting, Dahal and Modi will participate in the delegation-level meeting after which the two will hold a joint press conference.
The two also signed seven agreements ranging from energy to expansion of cross-border petroleum lines.
Here are the agreements signed between Dahal and Modi:
- Renewal of Nepal-India transit agreement.
- Expansion of the Motihari-Amlekhganj petroleum pipeline to Chitwan and building a new petroleum pipeline from Siliguri to Jhapa along with storage facilities.
- Collaboration between the Institute of Foreign Affairs and Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service.
- Setting up an integrated check post at Chandni Dodhara.
- Project Development Agreement signed for Lower Arun Hydropower Project
- India to build Phukot Karnali Hydropower Project
- Digital payment agreement between two countries.
Dahal will also meet Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar today.
