The hearing in the rape case against cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane continued on December 28 in the District Court of Kathmandu. As the hearing was not concluded, the bench presided over by Judge Shishir Raj Dhakal decided to keep the case under consideration for December 29.
Following the arguments presented by legal professionals representing the government lawyer and Gaushala 26 on Thursday, Sandeep’s legal team engaged in debates.
The lawyers representing Lamichhane will have their turn on Friday as the debate was not completed. Subsequently, after the conclusion of Lamichhane’s lawyers’ arguments, the government lawyer will present their case.
The bench will then proceed to pronounce the final decision.
