Nepal America International Film Festival (NAIFF), organised by Nepal America Film Society is scheduled to be held from June 20 to June 23, in Maryland USA.
The festival will feature a diverse array of films, spanning genres such as feature-length, documentaries, animations, experimental, and shorts from Nepal, South Asia, the USA, and worldwide. Special sections include screenings from the Global Peace Film Festival Florida and focus on films from Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia in the DMV Close-up Section.
“We fully embraced in-person events in 2023, and we are eager and hopeful to continue offering festival visitors a fully in-person lineup of exhibitions and events in 2024 as well,” says Yubakar Rajkarnikar, Festival Director.
NAIFF 2023, held from June 22–25 at AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center, Old Greenbelt Theater, and Brentwood Arts Exchange, showcased industry panels, filmmaker conversations, and in-person networking events.
The 2024 edition will continue to feature industry panels, filmmaker discussions, and more, with details to be announced in the coming months.
