Kathmandu, February 28
To foster the entrepreneurial spirit in students, the Nepalese Youth Entrepreneurs Foundation (NYEF) in collaboration with Kathmandu Model College organised an event ‘Inspiring Next-Gen Entrepreneurs: Start, Scale, Soar’ on February 23 in Kathmandu.
The event was supported by ILO. According to a press statement released by Kathmandu Model College, the program was attended by 145 participants. The member of the Federal Parliament of Nepal, Sumana Shrestha was the keynote speaker of the session and the panellists were Santosh Pandey, Anima Piya, and Sanjog Koirala
At the event, Shrestha emphasised the importance of entrepreneurship in today’s dynamic world. The panellists shared their entrepreneurial journey, challenges faced, and lessons learned, providing invaluable guidance to aspiring student entrepreneurs.
It added that the event provided a platform for students to network with industry experts, gain practical insights into entrepreneurship, and explore potential career paths.
In the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Kathmandu Model College and NYEF was signed to establish a collaborative partnership to promote entrepreneurship education, facilitate mentorship opportunities, and support student startups.
