Kathmandu, July 21
The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has directed its Members of Parliament to vote against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s vote of confidence proposal, which is scheduled for presentation in the House of Representatives on Sunday at 1pm.
In an official notice issued by Santosh Pariyar, the Chief Whip of the parliamentary party, RSP MPs have been instructed to oppose the Prime Minister’s proposal.
Prime Minister Oli is set to seek a vote of confidence this Sunday. The Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre), the RSP, and the Unified Socialist Party have all issued similar directives to their members, signalling their collective stance against the Prime Minister.
