Bindunath Lohani appointed chancellor of Nepal University

Kathmandu, December 20

Bindunath Lohani has been appointed as the Chancellor of Nepal University.

As per the Nepal University Act, 2081, Lohani will serve a four-year term as the Chancellor of the institution.

Lohani completed his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1970 from the Birla Institute of Technology in India, earning a gold medal for his achievements.

He later obtained a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina, USA, in 1974, and a PhD in Environmental Technology and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, in 1977.
