Ujjwal Saagar’s first live concert concludes with a full house at Moksh

Singer-songwriter Ujjwal Saagar’s first-ever live concert concluded on Saturday at Moksh, Jhamsikhel. As informed by the Raeela films, the event’s organiser, there were 300 attendees, making it a sold-out show.

Ujjwal was accompained by a band which featured Ujjwal Saagar on vocals, Naren Moktan and Bishwa Adhikari on guitars, Rhythm Bogati on drums, Rupesh Shakya on flute, Neil Ghatani on keyboard, Jay Lama Dong on bass guitar, Aayush Dhital on tabla, and Sabin Shakya as the sound engineer. Singer Prabriti Rai also joined Ujjwal on stage.

Amid the show, a surprise came in the form of a special performance by singer-songwriter Sushant Ghimire, which further energised the crowd.

The setlist featured Ujjwal’s popular originals including Sunana, Timi Khusi Ta Chhau Ni?, Sunakhari, Dailo, Sannata, Mirmire, Chhaya, and Dhun. The band also paid tribute to Nepali music legends by covering Tadha Tadha Janu Cha Sathi by Bachhu Kailash and Sawari Mero Relaima by Melwa Devi.
