Kathmandu, March 20
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has pressed seven airlines that are yet to pay taxes amounting to millions of rupees for many years to pay them within the next seven days or face action.
All of these companies are not in operation now.
Issuing a public notice today, the civil aviation regulatory body of the country urged the airlines to pay the pending service charges and royalties to it and the airport office.
If they fail to pay the taxes within the deadline, the authority says it will confiscate the amount from their other properties as per the law and bar them from all aviation-related businesses.
But, this is not the first time CAAN issued such a notice.
Here is the list of the airlines failing to pay taxes and royalties along with the respective amounts.
