Surkhet, January 5
One man has died and eight others have sustained injuries in a road accident in the Dailekh district of Karnali on Wednesday morning.
Krishna Rokaya, a resident of the Bhagawatimai rural municipality-6 of the district, died on the spot as an SUV he was driving (Lu 2 Cha 4829) fell off the road in Narayan municipality-11 of the district. The vehicle was going from the Bestada Bajaar of Bhagawatimai to the district headquarters.
Meanwhile, the injured have been taken to Surkhet for further treatment.
Police say they are looking into the case.
