Kathmandu, May 3
A candidate of municipality ward member for upcoming local level elections has been found dead in Dhunibeshi of Dhading district on Wednesday.
CPN-UML’s candidate for Dhunibeshi Ward Number 3, Bina Mijar (35), was found hanged at around 9 am today, police informed.
Police Inspector Jeevan Niraula at the police post in Dharke says police are yet to ascertain if the case was a suicide or a murder.
Earlier, on Tuesday, an election official in neighbouring Rasuwa district was found unconscious in a noose. He is undergoing treatment at a Kathmand-based hospital.
