Kathmandu, August 17
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s special emissary to China Deputy Prime Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara has met Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing on Wednesday.
According to the Nepali embassy in Beijing, during the meeting Li assured Mahara of China’s continued support to Nepal, and cooperation in possible areas.
During the courtesy meeting, Li thanked Mahara for inviting President Xi and the Prime Minister, and said the two foreign ministries will be in touch for necessary coordination.
According to the embassy, expressed “China’s willingness to extend all possible cooperation for Nepal.” He said, “China and Nepal have always developed pragmatic relations.”
