Kathmandu, March 17
A Fishtail Air chopper met with an accident in Langtang, Rasuwa district, on Thursday while it was returning to Dhunche after dispatching relief to earthquake victims in Langtang VDC. Soon after the takeoff, the copter met with the accident at 3.30 pm. The accident occurred reportedly after the copter’s rotor suffered glitches.
Krishna Prasad Adhikari, chief district officer, told Onlinekhabar there was no fatality in the crash. The copter had only the pilot on board. A four-member team under operations director Ashish Sherchan has left for the accident site on another Fishtail copter for the rescue work.
