Former lawmaker Dr Laxmi Lal Chaudhary died here on Wednesday. He was 78.
Also a former professor at Mahendra Bindeshwori Multiple Campus, Chaudhary had won a seat on a Nepal Democratic Socialist Party ticket during first Constituent Assembly elections held about nine years ago.
His last rites were performed in Saptari on Wednesday evening. Chaudhary is survived by two sons and two daughters.
