Kathmandu, September 4
Api Power Company Limited is preparing to develop three hydropower projects with total installed capacity of 123 MW within four years.
The company, according to its chairperson Guru Prasad Neupane, is starting construction of 75-MW Trishuli Galchhi, 40-MW Upper Chameliya and 8-MW Upper Naugad hydropower projects.
According to Neupane, the company aims to complete construction of Upper Naugad within 15 months. He said it aims to start construction of the Trishuli Galchhi hydel within Kartik (in about one and a half months from now) and complete the work within four years. The company aims to start the construction of Upper Chamaliya after completion of Naugad.
The company said it is also preparing to invest in solar power projects.
