Mahottari, September 13

Indian security personnel breached border, entered into Nepali territory of Matihani VDC, Mahottari district, and beat up two Nepali nationals on Monday.

Seema Sashastra Bal personnel deployed for border security at Madhawapur of Madhubani, Bihar, entered Matihani-7 of Nepal and beat and kicked Ganesh Chaudhary and Mahesh Mahato.

The two have suffered serious injuries in the attack and are undergoing treatment at a local health post.

Reportedly, it all started when two Indian nationals tried to sneak into Nepal carrying two sacks of cement at Matihani VDC-7. When SSB personnel ordered them to stop then and there, they vanished.

The personnel then unleashed their wrath on Chaudhary and Mahato, while they were sitting outside their home, beating them severely, according to locals. This incident has caused tension between locals and SSB along Matihani-Madhwapur border.
