Kathmandu, March 4
A six-year-old girl has died after being hit by a scooter in Gwarko of Lalitpur on Thursday night.
The victim has been identified as Anuska Jaisawal, a resident of the Rautahat district of southern Nepal who would currently stay in Balkumari of Lalitpur.
The two-wheeler, whose registration number is yet to be identified, had hit the child when she was on foot. Seriously injured, she was rushed to the nearby B&B Hospital. She had breathed her last during treatment at around 11:45 pm.
Police have said the scooter rider is on the run, but they have launched a manhunt.
