Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has held discussio
ns with all five commissioners of CIAA, at a time when its Chief Commissioner Lokman Singh Karki is facing impeachment in the Parliament.
Commissioner Nabin Kumar Ghimire told Onlinekhabar that PM acquired information about CIAA’s activities as part of his regular meeting with CIAA officials, which started at 9 am and lasted around half an hour.
A source at the PM’s Office said PM requested commissioners to give continuity to CIAA activities despite the impeachment motion against CIAA Chief Karki. PM also asked commissioners to update him about goings-on in the constitutional anti-corruption agency.
