NIU scooters are one of the first electric scooters to make an impact on the two-wheeler market where fossil fuel vehicles are dominating by a very huge margin. The stylish lightweight body and smart features on the NIU scooters made the brand popular here in no time as these scooters are currently one of the best electric scooters available in Nepal.

NIU is probably the first electric scooter company to have premium electric scooters in Nepal. It has been continuously bringing a premium range of electric scooters in Nepal for quite a time now. It also launched Gova G3 not long ago and currently has three new models for sale here in Nepal.

Here are the three new models of NIU scooters with their specifications and prices.

NIU MQi+ has a sleek and stylish design, making it a true NIU scooter. It has a combination of modern styling with smart features. This particular model features a slim body, making it more agile and providing the required flexibility for the hefty traffic. Design-wise, it gets a circular LED headlamp whereas there is a bull-horn shaped LED tail lamp at the rear.

NIU MQi+ is made for economic performance. The 1,500W power Bosch motor on the scooter can provide you with a range of 60-75 km on a full charge with a maximum speed of 45kmph. It takes around seven hours to fully charge the battery. It has 12-inch tubeless tyres on the front and back and gets a disc brake for braking. The scooter weighs lightly at 72kg, which makes it easy to control and handle as well.

If the power provided by MQi+ is not enough for you, you have the option to choose NQi. This is another model among NIU scooters, and it has a greater power figure than the MQi+ along with a bolder design and better ground clearance. NQi too has a true NIU DNA as it has a sleek stylish built accompanied by modern features.

The power figures are different from other NIU scooters here. NIU NQi has a 2400W tailored motor by Bosch. Though it gives you the same top speed of 45kmph that MQi+ provides, it offers a slightly better range and has a more powerful motor. The torque power is also higher, which can be an advantage riding uphill and gives you quicker acceleration as well.

NQiGT is the most powerful among NIU scooters currently available in the market. It has everything to be considered as a premium scooter. The looks, power figures, and features cover every aspect to give the user a premium feel. The NQi GT also comes with three unique driving modes: sport for maximum speed and performance, dynamic for everyday use, and e-save for longer range and greater efficiency.

Riders can reach a top speed of 75kmph in the sports mode, but it is limited to 45kmph in other modes. It comes with a 60v35aH battery pack that is good enough to provide up to 110 km of range. In the e-save (energy-saving) mode, the NQi GT’s range can extend even further.
