Revenue collection from real estate transactions across Nepal reached Rs 4.12 billion in the month of Falgun, according to the Department of Land Management and Records.
Compared to Magh, revenue collection saw an increase, indicating that the real estate sector is gradually stabilising. The department’s data also shows a steady rise in revenue from property transactions.
Of the total revenue collected in Falgun, Rs 288.47 million came from service tax, Rs 2.20 billion from registration fees, and Rs 1.57 billion from capital gains tax.
The department previously collected Rs 3.83 billion in Shrawan, Rs 3.09 billion in Bhadra, Rs 3.08 billion in Asoj, Rs 2.70 billion in Kartik, Rs 3.87 billion in Mangsir, Rs 4.25 billion in Poush, and Rs 3.87 billion in Magh.
Among land revenue offices, the Kalanki office collected Rs 226.1 million in Falgun, Chabahil collected Rs 216.85 million, Lagankhel collected Rs 382.8 million, and Khairahani in Chitwan collected Rs 39.44 million.
