Veteran comedian-actor Hari Bansha Acharya hospitalised

Kathmandu, July 21

Veteran actor Hari Bansha Acharya has been hospitalised due to illness. He was admitted to Birat Nursing Home in Biratnagar after experiencing nosebleeds.

Acharya and his acting partner, Madan Krishna Shrestha, were in Biratnagar on Saturday to sign an agreement to become the commercial ambassadors for Himgiri Housing.

Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Karki visited the hospital to check on Acharya’s condition and reported that the actor was stable. He also expressed his wishes for Acharya’s speedy recovery.

Fans have been gathering at the hospital to see the beloved actor.

Medical tests revealed a wound inside Acharya’s nose, which required surgery. According to his son, Mohit, Acharya he will need to stay in the hospital for two more days to rest. “My father’s condition is currently stable,” he said.
