Kathmandu, October 11
As many as 250 children, mostly girls, expressed issues related to their lives via various forms of art in an event on Saturday, organised on the occasion of International Day of the Girl Child.
The day is celebrated across the world on Sunday.
Plan International Nepal, a leading child rights INGO in Nepal, says it provided an online platform to children representing seven districts of Nepal to express their voices about their rights and other concerns under the event ‘Art is Power’.
Plan had mobilised 11 artists to work with the kids.
