Kathmandu, March 7
Forty-one districts chiefs of Nepali Congress have affirmed their allegiance to party president hopeful Ramchandra Poudel.
The district chiefs, who met Poudel earlier in the day, have urged their supporters to vote for the establishment’s candidate.
They have said that Poudel is the best candidate for the post as he has been the face of Nepali Congress’s political struggle, and stance on socialism and democracy.
