Kathmandu, September 3
Five persons died whereas three others are missing in different landslide incidents in the Parbat district of western Nepal on Thursday and Friday.
Two persons died in a landslide at Durlung, Kusma municipality-3 of the district. They have been identified as Bimala Paudel (15) and Binita Paudel (11), members of the same family.
Three other family members are missing and a search mission has been launched, informs DSP Shiva Raj Budhathoki of the District Police Office.
In another case, three persons died in another landslide at Pakuwa, Kusma-11. They have been identified as Durga Paudel (35) and her six-year-old son Ganesh.
Likewise, Thuli Maya Thapa (50) died in another landslide at Ambot, Modi rural municipality-5 of the district.
