Five persons have died after being buried in a landslide in Bulingtar rural municipality of Nawalpur district on Wednesday evening.
The workers deployed for the construction of Kaligandaki corridor road lost their lives when a mass of land caved in above them.
The District Police Office Chief Prakash Malla says all of the victims are residents of Bulingtar-4. They have been identified as Gopal Garanja (20), Chet Bahadur Aslami Magar, Tara Bahadur Lungeli, Tul Bahadur Saru *42), and Sun Bahadur Pulami (42).
Police personnel and locals had taken out the bodies from the landslide yesterday.
Two persons have been injured and they are undergoing treatment at a health facility in Bharatpur of Chitwan.
