Kathmandu, March 1
Nepali Congress leader Arjun Narsingh KC announced on Tuesday that he is fighting for the position of General Secretary at the party’s 13th general convention.
KC, organising a press conference at the Reporters’ Club, said he is contesting from the panel of senior NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuba. The Deuba camp is yet to announce its panel.
The NC leader said he will try to remove weaknesses in the newly-promulgated constitution in a bid to address Tarai-Madhesh’s concerns if he wins. He pledged to lead the process of implementing the constitution by strengthening party unity.
