Kathmandu, April 12
Thirteen people died when a bus bound for Kathmandu from Khotang fell about 300 metres down the road at Mahadevsthan-1, Khotang, on Tuesday, Khotang police informed. The bus numbered Ba 2 Kha 6376 had left Diktel of Khotang for the national capital at 5 am.
Police have recovered 13 bodies from the accident site. Twenty-six passengers have suffered injuries in the accident. The accident site is 35 metres west of Khotang district headquarters Diktel, police said. An investigation is underway.
