Kathmandu, April 12
Prime Minister KP Sharma addressed the nation on Tuesday, on the eve of New Year 2073 BS.
The address came at a time when his government has been drawing fire for failing to control black marketing, corruption and inflation.
In his address, the Prime Minister called on Madheshi parties to sit for talks with the government, and to settle disputed issues through democratic process.
The Prime Minister utilised the address to make some tall promises. He said he would fight black-marketing, expedite develpment of railways and smart cities, and provide social security to all.
