President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has extended her best wishes to Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of New Year 2073 BS. In her message, President Bhandari wished for peace, progress, good health, longevity, unity and among Nepalis living in Nepal and abroad.
In her message, President Bhandari has described the promulgation of the constitution as the most significant achievement of the year 2072 BS.
At the same time, Bhandari expressed sadness over hardships that Nepalis had to face because of quakes and supply-related obstructions in the year 2072 BS.
She said the onus is on all Nepalis to federalise the country by implementing the constitution and lead the nation towards socioeconomic prosperity. President Bhandari stressed the need to move ahead in a new way for political stability. There’s a need to implement the new constitution through dialogue and understanding, Bhandari said.
