Kathmandu, May 11
The KP Oli government’s policies and programmes for the fiscal 2073-74 have the Parliament in two camps.
Discussions on the policies and programmes, presented last Sunday, began on Tuesday. The discussions in the House will continue till Thursday, as per the timetable of the Parliament Secretariat.
On Friday, Prime Minister Oli will respond to questions raised in the Parliament regarding the policies and programmes.
While ruling parties are supporting the policies and programmes, the opposition parties are standing against the same.
This is expected to during Wednesday’s discussions in the House that were slated to begin at 11 am.
Opposition parties have accused the government of bringing the policies and programmes on ad hoc basis. They have said it will be difficult to implement them.
At Tuesday’s House meeting, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba pointed that a temporary government has introduced temporary programmes.
