Siraha, June 9
One passenger died and 26 got injured when a passenger bus caught fire after colliding with a truck, at Siraha’s Golbazaar along the East-West Highway on Thursday evening.
Rajendra Upadhyaya, inspector at the Golbazaar area police office, informed that the bus numbered Na 5 Kha 8538 collided with the truck numbered Na 2 Kha 4294, killing an unidentified woman in fire that erupted after the accident.
Those injured in the incident are receiving treatment at different hospitals in Golbazaar, he said. The bus and the passengers’ luggage were destroyed in the fire.
