Kathmandu, June 19

On Sunday, 172 more section officers entered Nepal’s civil service.

They entered the service after passing Public Service Commission exams and taking part in a six-month-long training at the Nepal Administrative Staff College in Jawalakhel.

At NASC training, section officers learn norms, values and practices of administrative operations.

Nanda Raj Gyawali, joint-spokesperson at the Ministry of General Administration, said the new batch of section officers will be deputed on the basis of merit secured in PSC exams and average scores obtained in course of the training.
