Two months ago, a bus belonging to Ideal Model School came under arson attack while it was in Dallu to pick up students.
The attack was meant to press the school for donations.
The arson carried out in the name of All Nepal National Independent Student Centre and Young Communist Force Nepal had private schools in the grip of ‘donation terror’. A student leader says: Later, we got information that (those groups) colllected huge amount of cash from big schools.
Two months after the arson, the Kathmandu Valley woke up to the news of bombs (IEDs) planted at around a dozen schools. This time also, security personnel recovered pamphlets bearing the names of the two organisations.
IEDs went off at Bouddha-based Akashdeep School and Manakamana Higher Secondary School. There were no casulaties in the blasts. Police informed that part of Akashdeep walls had collapsed due to the blast.

There was a bomb at East Pole Boarding School in Bouddha on Tuesday. Its principal Rajesh Rai said the school has never received any threat, nor has it come across groups demanding fulfillment of their demands.
According to a source, certain group had forwarded its list of demands to PABSON. After the latest wave of terror, PABSON, N-PABSON and HISSAN are holding a joint meeting to discuss the way out.
