Kathmandu, January 19
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is expanding his 41-member Cabinet on Thursday by appointing two more ministers — Samajbadi Party lawmaker Prem Bahadur Singh and Akhanda Nepal Party lawmaker Kumar Khadka — a source close to PM said.
The two ministers will take the oath of office at 2.30 pm. While Singh will head the Ministry of Irrigation, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Khadka will head the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare. The Prachanda Cabinet currently has two deputy prime ministers, 24 ministers and 14 ministers of state.
