Gulmi, September 22
Two persons have died whereas another sustained injuries in a landslide in Ratchaur, Isma rural municipality-2 of Gulmi, in Province 5, on Monday.
The victims have been identified as Prem Bahadur Kumal (39) and Saphal Kumal (5), informs DSP Kedar Raj Panta of Gulmi District Police Office. A landslide from the hill above their way had buried them when they were walking, according to him.
Tilak Kumal (60) has sustained injuries in the incident, and he is undergoing treatment at a local health post. He is out of danger.
The trio were returning home after attending a religious event at their relative’s. The injured man was rescued last night whereas the bodies of the victims were taken out just this morning by a team of Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel.
The bodies have been taken to the District Hospital for postmortem.
