Kathmandu, December 15
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 250,180 as of Tuesday afternoon.
The ministry says 936 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 7,117 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 843,581 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 9,881 cases are active. The recovery rate as of Tuesday is 95.3 per cent.
Of the total cases so far, 238,569 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,730 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 1,996 people have been discharged whereas 14 deaths have been reported.
Over 450 people are quarantined across the country.
