Kathmandu, January 17
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 267,322 as of Sunday afternoon.
The ministry says 266 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 3,508 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 12,452 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 3,919 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 261,444 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,959 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 400 people have been discharged whereas five deaths have been reported.
Over 200 people are quarantined across the country.
