Nepal Covid-19 tally: 81 new cases, 111 recoveries, 5 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 11

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 272,430 as of Thursday afternoon.

The ministry says 81 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours. 33 cases were reported in the Valley.

In this period, 3,023 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 107,649 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,718 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 268,660 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,052 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 111 people have recovered whereas 5 deaths have been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
