Kathmandu, May 2
Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal and his wife Indira Phuyal have tested positive for the coronavirus on Sunday.
Both are isolated at their own home, informs the minister’s secretariat.
On April 21, Minister Dhakal had participated in a mass event attended by thousands at Ayodhyapuri of Chitwan.
He is the third known member in the Oli cabinet to test positive for the virus during the second wave of the pandemic in Nepal. Earlier, Energy Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi and Water Supply Minister Mani Thapa had also tested positive.
