Dhangadhi, August 4
An Armed Police Force constable has been found dead in mysterious circumstances at his office in Kailali of Sudurpaschim on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Harish Kumar Shahi (31), a resident of Bhageshwar rural municipality-1 of the Dadeldhura district, currently stationed at the APF 34 Number Batallion Headquarters in Kailali.
DSP Prateek Bista, the spokesperson of the Kailali District Police Office, says his body, in a prone position, was found in a water pit inside the office compound.
The body has been taken to the Seti Provincial Hospital for postmortem. Further investigation is underway.
