Two pedestrians died in separate road accidents in Banke and Kailali respectively, on Thursday night.
The Area Police Office, Kohalpur informed that Keshav Kunwar, 40, of Raptisonari Rural Municipality-8 died when a bus heading towards Kathmandu from Mahendranagar hit him along the East-West highway in Banke district.
Injured Kunwar died in the course of treatment. Police have arrested the bus driver Dharma Raj Timilsina for further investigation of the accident.
Meanwhile, in Kailali, Damber Bahadur Bista, 37, of Mohonyal Rural Municipality-7 died when a bus travelling from west to east hit him, according to the Area Police Office, Lamki. The police have arrested the bus driver for the investigation.
