Kathmandu, March 18
A woman fell off the roof of a house in the northern outskirts of Kathmandu on Thursday while celebrating the Holi festival. Later, she died during treatment.
Nepal Police has identified the deceased as Divan Kumari Khadka (43), who would stay at the house of Hem Raj Khadka in Goldhunga, Tarakeshwar municipality-5 of the Kathmandu district, as a renter.
As she fell off the roof, she was taken to the Nepal Police Hospital in Maharajgunj and she died there at around 7:35 pm, according to police.
Meanwhile, another woman has sustained injuries in a similar accident while celebrating Holi in Kathmandu, and she is undergoing treatment at Green City Hospital, according to police.
