Kathmandu, May 11
A motorbiker has died in a tipper hit accident at Kalanki Chok of Kathmandu in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The victim has been identified as Diwakar Adhikari (45), a resident of Dhunibesi municipality-2 of the neighbouring Dhading district.
Adhikari’s motorbike (Ba 80 Pa 6373) heading towards Swayambhu from Thankot was hit by the tipper going towards the same direction (Ba 5 Kha 7345) at around 3 am today. Seriously injured in the accident, he was taken to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
Police say he died during treatment at the hospital.
Further investigation is underway.
