Kathmandu, December 28
A man died after being crushed by a train along the Janakpur-Jainagar railway, the only railway service in operation in Nepal.
Puran Sada (35), a resident of Nagarain municipality-2 of the Dhanusha district, was crushed while he was getting on board the train at the Bidehi station in Bideha municipality, according to police.
As he tried to step on the moving train, his leg got stuck there resulting in the fatality, informs Niranjan Jha, the general manager of the railway.
